The Premise

The story is set in Victorian London and follows Ciel Phantomhive, a 13-year-old Earl who is the head of the powerful Phantomhive noble family. After a traumatic event where his parents were murdered and his manor burned down, Ciel was kidnapped and tortured by a cult.

In his moment of greatest despair, he summoned a demon and entered into a Faustian contract. The demon would serve him, protect him, and help him find those responsible for his suffering. In exchange, once Ciel’s revenge is complete, the demon will devour his soul.
